Kemp Family Line
Legend has it that my Great-Great Grandparents met at the beach in South Carolina. This produced my great-grandmother Inez Kemp McCallum Harlee. But unfortunately, I don't have evidence to corroborate this story.

4.  INEZ KEMP MCCALLUM, born April 12, 1909, Bladen County, North Carolina; died December 9, 1987, Southeastern General Hospital, Lumberton, North Carolina. She married HENRY PETE HARLEE, son of HENRY HARLEE and MARGARET. He was born December 23, 1902 in Hamer, Dillon County, South Carolina, and died January 1959 in Robeson County, North Carolina.
Child of INEZ MCCALLUM and HENRY HARLEE are:
  1. MAMIE LUCILLE HARLEE, married DAVID JOHNSON
  2. MABEL JANE HARLEE, born March 14, 1924, Robeson County, North Carolina; died 2001, North Carolina; partnered with (1) JAMES PAGE SR, born September 26, 1922, South Carolina; died June 12, 1993, North Carolina; married (2) SIDNEY JUNE CARMICHAEL.
